Position: Concession Supervisor Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: Manager, Food & Beverage POSITION SUMMARY: An integral part of the hospitality team, Concession Supervisors lead a group of concession teams during games and events at Rogers Forum and provide coaching to ensure each fan receives exceptional service. This is a part-time, hourly, event-based position. A typical shift includes * Lead concession teams and provide ongoing coaching and recognition to team members to ensure exceptional hospitality is provided and the fan experience is exceptional * Contributing to building a high-performance team by actively partnering with all staff of Rogers Forum * Perform end-of-night administrative duties as they related to the assigned stands * Other duties as required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Proven front line customer service leadership in a food service setting * Excellent on-the-spot problem solving skills, including the ability to independently handle service recovery situations to a fan’s satisfaction * Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries * Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience * Must be at least 19 years of age * Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 4:00pm * Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. * Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time * Valid Serving it Right certificate is required Vancouver, and its neighbouring city, Abbotsford are two of the most diverse cities in the world and Canucks Sports & Entertainment strives to create a workforce that is inclusive, equitable, and represents our beautiful, unique communities.
