In-Arena Host

Position: In-Arena Host Department: Game Presentation Reports to: Manager, Game Presentation Term: Part-time for 2026-27 season POSITION SUMMARY: The In-Arena Host is responsible for being the face and voice at Abbotsford Canucks home games. The In-Arena host will host contests, promotions, live and pre-recorded interviews and engaging our fans in the live Canuck experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned as required) * Attend all Abbotsford Canucks home games as In-Arena Host * Responsible for the facilitation of our in-arena contests, promotions, features, intermissions and on occasion live and pre-recorded interviews * Preparation for game hosting duties to include participation in game presentation meetings as required, collaborating on scripting elements and attending special event rehearsals. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong on-camera skills and presence * Strong emceeing/hosting skills and ability to present in front of a live audience * Ability to hype up the crowd while maintaining a professional manner * Understanding of hockey * Ability to handle several live experiences with the appropriate style (eg. Candidates must possess strong on-camera and emceeing skills with the ability to energize a live audience professionally. A solid understanding of hockey and the ability to adapt their presentation style to various live scenarios is required.
