Summary: AGAT Laboratories is currently hiring for a General Labourer to join our Environmental logistics team. The successful candidate will be providing support to the logistics team with shipping/receiving of samples and other general labour activities in a warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out where they will gain valuable experience and direction from the Logistics Supervisor and team. What you will be doing: Working in the warehouse/logistics area, ensure packages, cylinders, samples are handled safely and stored in proper place. Fulfilling supply orders for clients. Conduct and operate activities in safe manner, ensuring all standard operating and safety procedures are followed. Maintain, clean and organize work areas including cleaning and washing of lab equipment. Perform quality checks as required. Other duties as assigned. What you bring to the table High school diploma. Knowledge of environmental chemistry an asset. Previous work experience in general labour, warehouse, or lab setting. Ability to lift up to 20 kg/50 lbs on a consistent basis. Good communication skills with fluency in English, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment. Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail. Mature work ethic, dependable, with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently. Basic computer skills/ Must be able to wear appropriate PPE including steel toed shoes/boots. Provide support to the environmental logistics team by handling the shipping and receiving of samples and fulfilling client supply orders. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment while ensuring all safety procedures and quality checks are followed.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in a warehouse or lab setting and fluency in English are required.
