Your Opportunity: As a Dietitian I, you provide nutrition expertise to patients attending the EGH Hemodialysis unit to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans. You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence-based nutrition information. You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans. You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence based nutrition information. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA). Provide nutrition expertise to patients in the Hemodialysis unit through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Deliver public health nutrition services and education to patients, students, and healthcare professionals to promote healthy living.

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition and completion of an accredited internship or practicum program. Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta.
