* Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, equipment, and production systems. * Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. * Maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems. * Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions. * Install, align, and test new machinery and equipment. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings. * Replace defective parts, bearings, motors, belts, gears, and other components. * Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. * Use maintenance management systems to document repairs, inspections, and service activities. * Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues. * Operate maintenance tools, testing instruments, and welding equipment as required. * Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools. * Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner. * Follow lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety policies. * Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. * Other duties as they may be assigned. *Requirements* * 1-2 year Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Welding/fabrication experience and safety * Ability to work independently and safely * Must be Available to work Monday, Thursday and Friday. * Overtime as required Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement Ability to commute/relocate: * Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * millwright: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person
