Church Music Director

Description We are seeking a passionate and skilled Church Music Director to lead and grow our music ministry. The successful candidate will inspire singers, collaborate with church leadership, and help create meaningful worship experiences through music. Qualifications And Education Requirements Experience directing a choir or vocal ensemble: Strong musical knowledge and conducting skills The ability to read music and teach vocal parts effectively Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership abilities. A commitment to supporting the mission and values of the church. Role and Responsibilities Choir Director responsibilities, Directing weekly choir rehearsals and worship service music Selecting and preparing appropriate choral repertoire. Coordinating music for special services and seasonal celebrations. Collaborating with church leadership in worship planning. Fostering an inclusive and welcoming music ministry environment Preferred Skills Preference will be given to candidates with formal music training and proficiency in piano and/Organ. The Music Director is responsible for leading weekly choir rehearsals and coordinating music for worship services and special celebrations. They collaborate with church leadership to plan worship and foster an inclusive music ministry environment.

Candidates should have experience directing vocal ensembles and the ability to read and teach music effectively. Formal music training and proficiency in piano or organ are preferred.
