Indigenous Education Advocate Kleos is seeking an experienced Indigenous Education Advocate that is interested in working to enhance school experiences of Indigenous youth enrolled with Kleos. Position: 5 hours per week Start Date: August 31, 2026 End Date: June 30, 2027 Salary: $40/hour Indigenous Education Advocate Enhance Experiences of Indigenous Youth and Families enrolled at Kleos Build community through regular and synchronous virtual connections Host weekly Zoom meeting with Indigenous students Participate in IEP process as Team Member Host Parent Open House - Talk Time to build community (monthly Zoom meeting) Support students to get connected to services and knowledge keepers in their areas Promote and Facilitate Authentic and Meaningful Curriculum Connections to Indiginous Culture School-Wide Review teacher lessons and curriculum Provide resources and lesson recommendations to teachers Host and source authentic and meaningful cultural learning opportunities for all students Deliver a lesson to a class Invite a knowledge keeper to present to a class Prepare a pre-recorded video to share with a class Facilitate a school wide learning experience Possible Schedule 5 hours per week: 2 Hour: Teacher Support 2 Hour: Student Zooms 1 Hour: Prep Time / Workshop Time (videos, parent sessions, in-class presentations)
