Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational TherapyMust be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of BCExperience working with student-aged children, especially those with multiple physical challengesExperience working with children in integrated settings and working with multidisciplinary teams would be considered an assetSkills:Well-developed interpersonal skillsAbility to liaise between school staff and outside agenciesStrong organizational skillsStrong verbal and written skillsStrong initiativeAbility to work independently Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain a positive work environmentAbility to relate effectively with parents and childrenPhysical ability to carry out the duties of the programOwn transportation for travel between schools is necessary The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
