*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are followed effectively. *Duties* * Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. * Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary. * Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place. * Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. * Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. * Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees while enforcing security policies. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to promote a secure working environment. *Skills* * Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. * Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and emergency response procedures is highly desirable. * Experience with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is a plus. * Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents and interact with others. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. *Licence/Certification:* * First Aid Certification * Ontario Security Guard License * Must have working cellphone with unlimited or high data plan * Must have transportation to and from work.
