Calgary International Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our Out of School Care program. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for school-aged Kindergarten through Grade 6 students outside regular classroom hours. Key responsibilities: Supervise students and support their safety and well-being. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate recreational, creative, and STEAM activities. Promote positive behaviour, independence, cooperation, and self-regulation. Maintain program routines, attendance records, and a clean, appropriately sanitized, organized environment. Communicate professionally with children, students, families, colleagues, and school leadership. Follow all applicable licensing, health and safety, emergency, and child-protection requirements, including but not limited to those established under the Early Learning and Child Care Act, the Early Learning and Child Care Regulation, and the Licensing Handbook for Facility-Based Programs. Required and mandatory qualifications: Valid Alberta Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification. Current and Valid (not expired) Child Care First Aid and CPR certification. Current Police Information Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search (not older than 6 months from the date of hire). Experience working with school-aged children in K-6 is preferred but not required. Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom-management skills. Exigences

Must hold a valid Alberta Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator certification and current Child Care First Aid and CPR certification. A recent Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search is mandatory.
