Key Responsibilities: * Deliver person-centered nursing care and perform health assessments. * Administer medications, treatments, and monitor resident health status. * Provide hands-on care for clients with tracheostomies and ventilators, including airway management and monitoring equipment. * Support technology-dependent clients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutrition. * Develop and maintain individualized care plans. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and support staff to ensure quality care. * Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. * Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of residents. * Provide clinical guidance and support to team members. Qualifications: Our “Exemplary Standing” with Accreditation Canada reflects our commitment to maintaining the same high standards of hiring and patient care as the facilities we proudly serve. * Current unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN) * Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification * Minimum one (1) year of acute care and/or community nursing experience preferred * Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care, airway management/suctioning, medication administration, and clinical documentation * Experience supporting technology-dependent clients with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities * Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team * Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs and/or developmental disabilities is an asset * Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one) * Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, professionalism, and safety standards Please note that based on current government mandates and directives, healthcare workers may be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.
