Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (medical/surgical) nurses who are willing to travel to Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals to join our amazing team. We’re ready when you are! Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12 hour shift. This is a casual to a full-time position with flexible shifts. Qualifications Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held in the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve. * Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with your respective provincial College. * Transfer of active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing * Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in acute care environments, preferably on medicine/surgical floors. * Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B * Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years * Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate * Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire * Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last minute/early morning Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. Exigences

Requires a current Registered Nurse license with the ability to transfer it to the Nova Scotia College of Nursing and at least 2 years of acute care experience. Candidates must provide proof of specific immunizations, a negative TB test, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
