Title: Remote ESL Tutor - Teach English to Korean Students from Home Company Description: Carrot Solutions is a leading language company based in South Korea, with a track record of over 20 years in the industry. Position Overview: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Online ESL Tutors to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach English to students based in South Korea through video and phone lessons. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time positions, we have flexible schedules to accommodate your availability. Job Details: ⦁ Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract ⦁ Conduct engaging online English lessons of various durations (10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes) per student. ⦁ Flexibility to teach split shifts, including morning and/or evening sessions. ⦁ A minimum of 20 hours per week during these peak times: 1) Sunday~ Thursday 5 pm to 8 pm EST 2) Monday~ Friday 5 am to 11 am EST ⦁ Extra hours are available from: 4 pm- 11 am EST ⦁ Additional teaching hours are available on Saturday and Sunday (4:00 am - 10:00 am EST & 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST). ⦁ Starting pay ranges from CAD 15-16 per hour with semi-annual pay raise evaluations. Requirements: ⦁ English teachers should demonstrate English as their primary language of fluency ⦁ Bachelor's Degree / Associate degree from a western institution . ⦁ Windows-based / Mac computer with at least 2 GB of RAM. ⦁ Reliable, hard-wired (NO WIFI) high-speed internet service (minimum 10 Mbps). ⦁ Proficient with computers and internet usage. ⦁ Headset with a microphone (Logitech Clearchat USB headset recommended). ⦁ Webcam for interactive sessions. ⦁ Consistent availability during peak demand times. ⦁ Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
