The Role The Bartender is responsible to maintain the highest standards possible for theatre patrons by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional bar service Meet your department... We create exceptional live performance experiences, from ticketing and guest services to concessions and accessibility support. Our team manages every detail to ensure events run smoothly and guests enjoy memorable visits. What You'll Do... Perform bartending duties, including observing and adhering to all liquor liability laws Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers Monitor the intake of alcohol of patrons, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking age Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues Responsible for daily bar set-up, ordering supplies, inventory control and restocking the bar Oversee and schedule bartending staff Check opening floats Responsible for completing cash-out and reconciliation procedures Prepare bank deposits Required to open, close and secure the building Assist with the set-up of special events Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of the bar area Other duties as assigned To qualify, you'll need... High School (Grade 12) diploma or equivalent Six (6) months experience in bar service Smart Serve Certification Must demonstrate corporate competencies of Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Integrity and Teamwork. Exigences
