2026-64 PART TIME ARENA ATTENDANT (2 vacancies) Reporting to: Manager of Facilities Operations - Arena Department: Recreation (Arenas) Classification: PERMANENT Part Time; Unionized Salary Range: $17.60 to $19.72/hour as per Schedule "A" Hours of Work: As per the Collective Agreement Starting Date: As soon as possible Application Deadline: No later than 4:00 p.m. August 24, 2026 Why City of Woodstock? Responsibilities: Ensure hockey nets are in place for various rentals. Sweep and mop the facility. Clean dressing rooms, offices, washrooms, and general public areas. Empty and collect garbage cans and recyclable containers. Ensure dressing room policies are maintained. Report accidents, by-law infractions, and any unsafe conditions to Full Time staff on duty. Assist in the set up and tear down of functions in Goff Hall. Ensure all fire exits are clear of snow and any other obstructions. Assist and direct tournament organizers and members of the public. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Grade 10 education. Standard first aid/CPR/AED an asset, or must be able to obtain as a condition of employment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Working Conditions: Usual arena conditions, works in the cold. Deal with the public and users of the facility. Some heavy lifting required.
