Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a part-time Food Cashier to join our dynamic team. CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 - 24. Position: Food Cashier Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider. Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Responsibilities: * Greet customers and respond to customer questions * Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions * Bag and assist with carrying out purchases * Complete cash-up procedures * Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: * Exceptional attention to detail and quality * Outstanding customer service and communication skills * Strong organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Team player with the ability to work independently * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required * Applicants must be over 14 years old (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required) Total Rewards: At Central Alberta Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
