Grocery Clerk/Cashier

Wynyard Co-op is hiring a Grocery Clerk/Cashier for our Food Store in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. What you’ll do: * Provide information, assistance and exceptional customer service * Inspect/receive goods for quality and completeness; maintain shelf and stock display * Perform general housekeeping duties, keeping sales floor & warehouse clean; regular clean up duties; ensuring tools/equipment are maintained/safe to use * Process customer orders and purchases using point of sale terminal; packaging products; cash reconciliations as required * Other duties as assigned Who you’ll work with: You will work closely with the Grocery Manager, Store Manager and Grocery Team. The Grocery Clerk/Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and processing transactions at the point of sale terminal. They also manage inventory by inspecting goods, maintaining shelf displays, and performing general housekeeping duties.
