Practical Nursing Program Instructor (To Garner Applications)

Job Summary The College of New Caledonia is looking for a part time nursing faculty member to instruct in the Practical Nursing Program. The candidate will be involved in delivering theory, lab and clinical based experiences. Skills & Qualifications Practical Nurse with a diploma in Practical Nursing Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience A combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered Recent teaching experience Current registration with BCCNM Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question. You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues. You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of CNC and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.

The instructor will deliver theory, lab, and clinical-based experiences for the Practical Nursing Program. They are expected to promote a positive work atmosphere and support the goals of the College of New Caledonia.

Candidates must be a Practical Nurse with a diploma in Practical Nursing and current BCCNM registration. A minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience and recent teaching experience are required.
