We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company. We have a Warehouse Management System to include voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning. Our automation also includes an ERP, CRM, Truckmate, Sage, Kronos and other applications to prime us for present and future expansions. ContainerWorld actively supports Lean Six Sigma concepts. ContainerWorld Group of Companies are divisions under the Mullen Group, publicly traded on TSX. Working Days: Must be able to work all shift (Unionized environment) Monday – Friday – 10:00 am -6.30 pm (Primary shift for all Probationary or newer employees) Monday – Thursday – 7:00 pm - 5:30 am Sunday - Wednesday – 7:00 pm – 5:30 am Monday - Friday – 5:30 am – 2:00 pm What’s in it for you: * Work boot allowance after 1 year of employment. You will need your own CSA approved steel toed safety footwear to start. * Safety vest allowance after probation. However, you will need your own safety vest to start. * On-the-job training * Free Parking * Public transit available during peak hours of work * Full training program to ensure all new team members are in a position for success * Positive atmosphere, excellent team environment Position Overview: Working mainly independently with guidance from Warehouse Supervisor as required, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products. What you’ll do: * Inspect and verify incoming products * Hand bombing and picking orders * Other general warehouse duties as assigned What you’ll need: * Be at least 19 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada * Ability to lift to 45lbs on a regular basis * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals * Basic math skills a must * Good communication and interpersonal skills Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: * Fast-paced environment * Heavy lifting * Repetitive tasks * Attention to detail HOW TO APPLY: If you meet the above job requirements, we are interested in hearing from you.
