We are a well-established, privately owned and respected veterinary clinic located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley- 1 hour outside of Halifax. Our area is full of wonderful farm markets, wineries and a stones throw from many local festivals and live theaters.Key Responsibilities:Assist with exams and diagnostic proceduresAdminister medications, injections, and treatments as prescribedPerform lab tests, including blood work and urinalysisMonitor anesthesia and assist in surgical proceduresProvide client education and ensure clear communication regarding treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsHelp with inventory management and ordering of suppliesFoster a compassionate environment for both patients and clientsQualifications:Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Nova ScotiaExperience is preferred but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be consideredStrong communication skills with both clients and team membersAbility to prioritize tasksStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsA compassionate, out going, team-oriented attitudeBenefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth insurance co-payNo weekend workContinuing educationEVTA and NSVMA license feesDiscounted veterinary care for your petsA supportive, team-oriented workplace cultureThink you'd be a great fit?
