Hours of Work: Mon. & Wed. 4:30p-9:30p & Fri. 5:30p-8:30p (26 hrs. biweekly) (Female Staff Only) The job responsibilities are as follows: * Providing quality service to clients to ensure client’s needs are met in all regards including a safe comfortable, clean living environment. * Support adults to gain independent living skills, including assistance with daily living activities including meal preparation, household chores, laundry, etc. and community access (accessing transportation to educational, recreation and community programs/events) * Patience, empathy, and the ability to foster independence rather than doing tasks for the client * Communicating with immediate supervisor to inform and consult regarding any serious problem/concern encountered in providing services to the individual * Ensuring all documentation is completed as required. * Understanding the roles, responsibilities and expectations of the Emergency On-call System. ✅ What You Bring: * A caring, reliable, and person-centred approach. * Strong communication skills. * Valid First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate is a mandate. * Valid police information check with vulnerable sector is mandate. * Previous experience in disability services is required. * Willingness to follow established policies, procedures, and support plans. 💙 Why Join Excel Society? * Supportive and inclusive work culture * Ongoing training and professional development * Meaningful work that makes a daily difference * Opportunities to grow your career in a respected, community-focused organization
