JOB POSTING Position Title: Bus Monitors - Permanent Part-time Position Description: Under the direct supervision of the Education Assistant, the Bus Monitor will enforce the bus transportation policy to ensure students safety while travelling on the bus. Major Responsibilities: Ensure students are seated upon entering the bus and remain in their seats while travelling on the bus. Report behavioural, accident, and injury of a child, to the principal of the school, Education Manager. Inform students of the rules to abide by while on the bus. Attend meetings as required. Qualifications/ Conditions of Employment: Completion of secondary school preferred. Vulnerable Sector Reference Check. First Aid Certificate. Wage: $22.45/hr. The Bus Monitor is responsible for enforcing transportation policies to ensure student safety while traveling on the bus. They must report behavioral issues, accidents, or injuries to school management and inform students of bus rules.

Candidates should ideally have completed secondary school and must possess a valid First Aid Certificate. A Vulnerable Sector Reference Check is also a mandatory condition of employment.
