As an On - call Crossing Guard, your role may vary slightly depending on the school location, traffic patterns, and weather conditions. Whether you’re helping children cross safely or responding to unexpected situations, we need you to be dependable, attentive, and ready to adapt on the spot. What's in it for you? Competitive hourly wage: $16.90 /hour + comprehensive benefits. We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy. Flexible schedule part time and Casual, about 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon — work only during school days, with short morning and afternoon shifts. Ensure the safe crossing at designated school crosswalks. Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security. Write detailed reports on events and incidents. Collaborate with authorities during serious situations. Qualifications for Crossing Guard Must be authorized to work in Canada. Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure. Adaptable and comfortable working in changing weather and school environments. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
