Delivery Driver Status: Hourly, Part time Location: Hamilton, Ontario Job Description Interested? Daytime schedule: Monday to Friday. Early start Known customer base. Opportunity for advancement. Valid driver’s license (Class G) & clean driving record Someone with good people skills who enjoys having a personal relationship with customers. Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to drive or be trained on fork lift Comfortable driving Ford Transit extended cab, high top 5-Ton experience an asset Here’s a typical day: Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines. Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized. Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes. Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises. Assist warehouse personnel in order to be able to deliver the orders on time. Verify picked orders before loading Load and unload vehicle Enter daily deliveries into computer system Call customers in advance of delivery to coordinate Use tablets to collect POD info What’s in it for you We are a major player involved in the energy transformation in Canada. Responsible for delivering orders to customers efficiently while optimizing routes and coordinating with warehouse personnel. Tasks include loading vehicles, verifying orders, and using tablets to collect proof of delivery.

Requires a valid Class G driver's license with a clean record and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with delivery work and forklift operation is preferred.
