As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day. Strong knowledge of safe medication administration, with the ability to prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and the College of Nurses of Ontario standards Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to following up on all concerns and complaints forwarded by a Client, family or team members and informs/seeks assistance from the Registered Nurse or designate Promoting the Client’s self-care and self-sufficiency, emphasize adaptation and abilities, promote wellness and provide preventative health education, thus by treating the whole person Proven ability to complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans accurately and within required timeframes Supporting the unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training and education Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration is an asset Performing other duties as assigned What You Need To Know Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate. Current Medication Administration Certificate. Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position Sienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. Exigences

Must be a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario with at least one year of experience in geriatric nursing. Required certifications include BCLS and Medication Administration.
