Union: HSAS Facility: Yorkton Regional Health Centre City/Town: Yorkton Department: Acute&Rehab Pt Therapies Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.25 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: Per 3 weeks: 3 shifts of 8 hours 1 shifts of 4 hours Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physical Therapist - Degree $40.187 to $49.255 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Physical Therapist- Degree works under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager and is supervised by the Physical Therapist Degree Senior to provide team based interdisciplinary care. The Physical Therapist- Degree will be responsible for providing holistic, culturally responsive, trauma informed assessment and treatment. The physical therapist- degree will participate in a rotation between all physical therapy programs. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Multi-Site: Yes Education Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Competencies Basic - Computer skills Written Communication Skills Verbal communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of Health Information Protection Act and other legislation. A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a valid Class 5 driver's license are required. Candidates must be registered or eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT) and possess a Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
