Herzing College Montreal is seeking a Subject Matter Expert with experience in graphic design, multimedia production, web design, and digital media. The ideal candidate should be able to develop course content that reflects current industry practices and technologies. Opportunity for online course design and instruction. Candidate must be bilingual - French/English Required Expertise: Fluent in English and French 5+ years of online teaching or facilitation experience Proficient with Moodle LMS Subject matter expertise in the applicable discipline Strong online classroom management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and educational technology Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Expertise: Graphic Design & Visual Communication Bitmap and Vector Graphics Typography & Layout Design Website Design (HTML/CSS) Digital Animation & Interactive Media Branding & Package Design UI/UX Design Media Production Intellectual Property, Ethics & AI in Design Post-secondary teaching experience Curriculum or course development experience Experience designing online learning activities and assessments Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Experience using AI tools and other educational technologies Previous SME or instructional design experience Courses Bitmap Image Design and Editing Vector Graphics Design and Editing Website Design Fundamentals Digital Animation Graphic Design Fundamentals Typography & Layout Design Branding and Package Design UI/UX Design Media Production Specialization Intellectual Property, Ethics, and AI We thank all candidates that apply however only successful candidates will be contacted.
