Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Possible live in opportunity in future. The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Provide personal care * Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position. * Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support * Provide behavior support and crisis intervention * Maintaining open communication with client and their family * Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates * Responding to all emergency situations * All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: * DSW/PSW/SSW certification is required * Valid First Aid/CPR certificate * Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months * CPI training is an asset** * Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory * Satisfactory professional references * Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions * Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review. The successful candidate will provide personal care, behavior support, and crisis intervention for community clients. They are also responsible for monitoring care plans, documenting updates, and maintaining communication with families.

Candidates must hold a DSW, PSW, or SSW certification along with valid First Aid/CPR and a clean police vulnerable sector check. A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle are mandatory for this role.
