We actively involve our team in shaping company goals. We have 3 casual vacancies available for our high behavior community clients. The ideal candidate drives their own reliable car, holds a current CPI blue card or Safe Management certificate, or has 3+ years experience with youth with high behaviors such as ADHD, Autism, etc. Scheduling is flexible, after school hours mostly, 4 hour shift blocks and open availability is an asset. Evenings and night availability are a requirement. Job Benefits: * Pay $25.00 per hour * Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week* * 4% Vacation Pay on every pay * Flexible hours * We care about our team's health and safety. The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per client's care plan * Supporting client with any assigned exercises daily if required * Providing medication support and management * Providing cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral and spiritual support * Able to reapproach and understand avoiding triggers. * Comfortable driving clients to events, community activities in own vehicle * Maintaining open communication with client and family * Monitoring care plan and adding detailed documentation with any changes and updates * Responding to all emergency situations * All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: * Experience of over 3 years is *required** * Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license * Valid CPR/First Aid certification * Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months * CPI BLUE CARD or Safe Management is requested, but not required * 2 Satisfactory professional references * Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions * Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
