Are you an experienced Maintenance Worker V seeking a rewarding opportunity? Join our dedicated and supportive team at Summerland Health Centre in Summerland, B.C. Your Role As a Maintenance Worker V, you'll be handling trades duties approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Supervise Maintenance Workers and designated staff while constructing walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows. Your skills will shine in framing, applying, and finishing materials like drywall, wood paneling, and floor coverings. Get creative by designing, constructing, and repairing furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves. Dive into plastering, painting, and decorating, contributing to both minor renovations and general maintenance. Casual Opportunities This casual position offers flexible scheduling, with hours varying from 0 to 37.5 per week, primarily on Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:30 to 15:30.
