We are hiring for a permanent part-time 0.69fte Occupational Therapist at the Kelowna General Hospital. This role supports acute care with a strong emphasis on assessments and discharge planning as part of the multi-disciplinary allied health team. Applicable positions may qualify for up to $10,350 as a recruitment incentive and/or be eligible for relocation allowance. Apply today! Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes. Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers. Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living. Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings. Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
