Positions Available: 2–3
Schedule: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Training: Provided
The Gelato Mill in the Canal District is seeking 2–3 friendly and dependable Baristas / Counter Attendants to join its team.
This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in hospitality, food service, retail or customer service while working in a fun, energetic and customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, gelato and other menu items Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Take customer orders accurately Process cash, debit and credit card payments Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked service area Assist with opening and closing duties Restock supplies and products as needed Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace procedures Work collaboratively with team members to create a welcoming guest experience Complete other duties as required

Required Skills
Friendly, outgoing and customer-focused Dependable, punctual and responsible Able to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and provide excellent customer service Previous barista, food service, retail or customer service experience is considered an asset Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
