Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience working with students with complex needs

Knowledge of speech, behavior modification strategies, and play based learning would be considered an asset

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

Calm and patient approach to solving problems

Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment

Background and/or experience with hearing impaired students Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment

Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
