Line Cook – Beacon Pub & Eatery
$19.00+/hour | Full & Part-Time
The Beacon Pub & Eatery is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where quality, teamwork, and development are a priority.
We are looking for individuals ideally with at least 2 years of professional kitchen experience who are confident working on the line and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes consistently and efficiently
- Work across kitchen stations during busy service periods
- Support food preparation for upcoming shifts where required
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
- Step into leadership support when required, including guiding junior team members
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control
- Follow all food safety procedures including temperature checks and sanitation standards
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ kitchen experience (line cook experience preferred)
- Food Safe certification (required)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused approach
- Previous supervisory exposure is an asset
