Line Cook – Beacon Pub & Eatery

$19.00+/hour | Full & Part-Time

The Beacon Pub & Eatery is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where quality, teamwork, and development are a priority.

We are looking for individuals ideally with at least 2 years of professional kitchen experience who are confident working on the line and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes consistently and efficiently
• Work across kitchen stations during busy service periods
• Support food preparation for upcoming shifts where required
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
• Step into leadership support when required, including guiding junior team members
• Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control
• Follow all food safety procedures including temperature checks and sanitation standards

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ kitchen experience (line cook experience preferred)
• Food Safe certification (required)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused approach
• Previous supervisory exposure is an asset
