ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)

• Graduate of two-year approved Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized Community college (or equivalent).
• Computer/Technical skills: Demonstrated keyboarding and Switchboard panel proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet functions.
• Must be able to work day, afternoon and night shifts with minimal call-in notice
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Star ADT system a definite asset.
• Prior medical office experience a definite asset.
• Demonstrated professional telephone skills.
• Satisfactory attendance.
