Location: Collingwood and Wasaga Beach, Ontario
Job Type: Parttime Contract
Start Date: May 2026 for 6 months, with possibility of extension.
Salary: $31.58-$36.61/hr depending on experience and expertise.
Hours of work: 16-24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within the hours of 8am to 5pm. Specifically, Wednesday and Thursday are essential for group programming.
Benefits: Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP). No other benefits are offered with this contract.
The Georgian Bay Family Health Team is seeking a Registered Kinesiologist (RKin) to join our rehabilitation team. Travel within the local area for collaboration with partners and for delivery of community-based activity programs will be required. You will facilitate the continuity of primary health care by working collaboratively with our nurse practitioners, local physicians, and allied health professionals of the Georgian Bay Family Health Team and the South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team.

We work in a professional and collegial environment and use an up-to-date electronic medical records system (EMR). Our Family Health Team provides a host of primary care services including Lung Health, Diabetes, Healthy Aging, Nutrition Counselling, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN).
Key responsibilities:
- To deliver structured rehabilitation and exercise programs, and health education to enable adults to maintain independence and safety and optimally manage chronic health conditions.
- Conduct intake assessments for new participants; collect comprehensive health history, and provide evidence-based education for lifestyle modification, exercise recommendations and cardiovascular risk reduction.
- Use research and evidence to inform care delivery, education, and program planning.
- Collaborate with community partners and members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with family members and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, holding current registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario in good standing.
- Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and operational vehicle.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field preferred
- Experience in cardiac rehabilitation and/or musculoskeletal exercise programming an asset
- Verbal and written communication, including effective use of computer programs like Microsoft Office, PS Suite experience an asset
- Working autonomously and being self-directed

- Risk management and optimizing patient safety
