ALL IN: The 2025-2029 Lambton College Strategic Plan
Specific Accountabilities:
- Create graphics and publications to promote the activities under the Research & Innovation department by incorporating original text and graphic elements.
- Develop branding for new initiatives external to the College
- Provide concept development and design of promotional materials including, but not limited to annual report, promotional products, social media posts, advertisements.
- Together with the Outreach and Communication team, brainstorm and conceptualize ideas that offer strategic design solutions which meet project criteria.
- Provide oversight and maintenance of the college and department brand and visual identity for all Research & Innovation department material.
- Ensure consistency and continuity across all sub-brands and endorsed brands
- Regularly assess branding guides
- Responsible for videoing and photography to support promotional items
About the Position:
This is a temporary part-time role replacing a support staff Bargaining Unit member. This role will be for 12 months starting in June 2026 working 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $30.50
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives & Development the incumbent will work with the outreach and communication team to develop materials that will be used for internal and external audiences to promote the activities within the Research & Innovation department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 year Post-Secondary diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in promotional document development
- Understands targeted audience of document and appropriate design
- Knowledgeable of Intellectual Property guidelines
- At least two years experience in the areas of graphic design and brand management
- Extensive practical experience in graphic design and communications
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, interpersonal and human relation skills
- Strong time management skills showing the ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities
