About the role

Forbes Pharmacy - Pandora is looking for a part-time Delivery Driver to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pickups and deliveries of medications and medical supplies throughout Victoria.
  • Reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager
  • As a company vehicle is not available, candidates will be required to use their own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
  • Maintains the safety and security of all cargo
  • Complete delivery documentation and ensure delivery slips are signed and submitted.
  • Lifts and maneuvers large packages as required
  • Maintains accurate records
  • Carries out additional duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver's licence with a safe driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Driver’s abstract (dated within 30 days) required
  • Candidates will be required to use their own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is required.
  • Trustworthy and dependable, with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members
  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines accurately
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large packages
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • First Aid and CPR certification is required.

Schedule:

  • The regular shifts will typically be scheduled between Monday and Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Please note that shifts will be scheduled for two (2) days per week, with each shift lasting 5 hours daily.
