*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support to pharmacists and ensures smooth pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with medical terminology. Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings is highly valued, and the position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the healthcare industry. *Responsibilities* * Patient greeting and confirmation of the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information before filling * Data Entry: Process prescription entries within Kroll with a high degree of speed and precision. * Billing & Adjudication: Manage third-party billing for public and private insurers, including contacting providers to troubleshoot and resolve claim discrepancies. * Dispensing Support: Assist in the workflow by selecting, labeling, and preparing medication products for final check * Answering phone calls, patient?s questions and their concerns. * Doing blister packs * Inventory Management: Support stock tasks such as receiving shipments, shelving inventory, and monitoring medication levels. *Experience, Skills & Qualifications* * Strong commitment to providing high-level customer service experience * Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation * Strong communication skills * Strong motivation to succeed * Proficient computer/data/entry skills * Experience with Kroll/Telus Health is an asset * Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada * Offer of employment is subject to a clear enhanced criminal record This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about healthcare and patient well-being.
