Job Description Food & Beverage Porter (PT) As a Food & Beverage Porter with Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and flavours that are hallmarks of our restaurant and lounge experience. Your warm, attentive guest service and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to! What you will be doing: Reporting to the Assistant Restaurant Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Assist with a steady flow of the bar, assisting the bartenders in all operations of mixing cocktails. Prepare mixer, cut fruit, receive requisitions, check par levels, refill mixers, get ice, run food, and collect and dispose of garbage Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of service areas and equipment Retrieve requisitions and participate in the deep cleaning of the outlet Additional duties as necessary and assigned Physical Aspects Include But Are Not Limited To: Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
