About the role: The Laboratory Technician (LT) provides a professional service in performing phlebotomy and electrocardiogram. In addition the LT performs other laboratory technical and non-technical functions under supervision. What you’ll bring: Certificate from OSMT Graduate of Laboratory Technician training program Minimum of 1 year or equivalent experience Experience in performing phlebotomy and ECG’s Previous hospital experience an asset Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal Demonstrated problem assessment skills Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork Demonstrated individual leadership skills Models’ behaviour that is aligned with the values of Southlake Health.
