Position #: 171527 Expected Start Date: October 05, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Tisdale Admin Office City/Town: Tisdale Department: Professional Practice - Multidisciplinary Teams Type: Casual FTE: 0 Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) integrates skills, knowledge and the principles of adult teaching and learning in the provision of educational programs/services to nursing staff within Saskatchewan Health Authority. The CNE will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of safe, client centred care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Manager Multidisciplinary Teams (Clinical Standards and Professional Practice), the CNE is responsible for identifying and prioritizing the clinical learning needs across the spectrum of nursing services within Saskatchewan Health Authority. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring and evaluation. * Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience * Experience in designing/delivering clinical education * Intermediate computer skills with experience in excel and word Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Memberships * College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Other Education and Training * Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP) Competencies * Presentation skills Knowledge and Abilities * Knowledge in process of policy and procedure development * Knowledge in nursing process and principles of adult learning * Ability to manage programs within budgetary parameters Other Information * Valid Class 5 driver's license * May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives * No guaranteed hours The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. A minimum of 5 years of recent acute nursing experience and proficiency in adult education are required.
