Reporting to the Manager of Fitness and Aquatic Services, the Part-time Fitness Programmer is responsible for: health club and program supervision; fitness assessments; exercise correction and prescription; client personal training; customer service in the health club; public relations in the recreation centre; enforcing all established Health Club standards, procedure, protocols with patrons; and performing other duties as may be assigned. What You Bring To Our Team As the successful applicant you must possess: A diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Recreation/Fitness Centre Leadership; certification in CPR/AED (Level C or HCP) and Standard First Aid; current CSEP-CPT certification (CSEP certification is a REQUIREMENT for this position) the ability to communicate orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner; well-developed interpersonal and public relations skills; and a valid, satisfactory police criminal record check to work with the vulnerable sector. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. We are seeking Friday - Sunday availability. Salary Range/Hourly rate: $28.18 - $31.32 Hybrid information: Frontline Hours: Flex hours, including days, evenings and weekends (maximum of 24 hours per week).
