The Village of Taunton Mills has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Part Time PCA MED CERT to join their team on South and North Independent apartments. Working 20 hours bi-weekly, four days in two weeks rotating schedule, including every other weekend. Working Hours: 07:00 - 13:30 • Status: Temporary Part-Time • Location: 3790 Brock Street North, ON L1R 0H2 Start Date: Beginning of October Closing date: September 28th The hiring rate for this role is $22.90 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. As a new Medication Certified Personal Care Aide (Med Cert PCA) joining our Village, you will: Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of personal care to our residents. You will work as key members of our Village and neighbourhood multidisciplinary teams to understand residents’ individual needs, and advocate for residents to actively participate in decisions about their care. Medication Certified Personal Care Aides (Med Cert PCA) at Schlegel Villages foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care to our residents and medication administration to medically stable residents that focusses on flexible living and quality of life. In addition to supporting residents with personal hygiene care, basic nursing care, companionship and activities, our Medication Certified Personal Care Aides (Med Cert PCA) administer medications, record temperature, pulse and respiration (TPR) and skin care treatments under the direction of our Registered Team. Our Medication Certified Personal Care Aides (Med Cert PCA) know our residents and are quickly able to identify and report any changes in the resident’s well-being to the Registered Practical Nurse or Charge Nurse.
