Kayla's Children Centre is a multi-disciplinary centre for children with special needs. Our mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge, educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for infants, children and teens with special needs, and to assist their families by offering support and respite. Music Therapist Requirements: • Entry level or above, Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Music Therapy • Current registration with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists preferred • Experience working with children with diverse abilities, including ASD, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities • Ability to assess and implement developmentally appropriate therapy programming for groups and individual clients • Good collaboration and communication skills to work in an interdisciplinary team with and run multidisciplinary groups • Communicates effectively in person and via writing and maintains professional relationships with students, family members, and school staff • Proficient computer skills for online scheduling and documentation • Strong music proficiency in voice and instruments; guitar skills preferred • Strong group leadership skills and ability to establish effective group dynamics Application deadline: June 30, 2026 Job Types: Part-time permanent, 14 - 20 hours per week Hourly rate: $40.00–$70.00

Exigences
