Part time Child Care Assistant

Full Description Governor Semple Children's Place is looking for part time staff to join our team. This position is a part time positions ideal for someone looking for part time work, university students, someone looking to get into the Early Learning field. We are looking for an educator to work approximately 20 hours a week with possibilities of longer shifts on in-service days and school breaks. Hours we are hiring for are between, 8:00am-9:30am and/or 300-530pm. In this position you will be working with ECE's and CCA's to help give the children great experiences, through play, field trips, art, science, outdoor play, and creativity You will be expected to interact with the children, light house keeping, monitoring safety, planning and supporting fun activities The Manitoba Child Care Association acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the Red River Métis Homeland. Assist Early Childhood Educators in providing children with enriching experiences through play, art, science, and outdoor activities. Responsibilities include interacting with children, monitoring safety, and performing light housekeeping duties.

Ideal for university students or individuals seeking entry into the Early Learning field. Candidates should be available for part-time shifts, specifically in the early morning or late afternoon.
