Sustained by its 60 years experience, Manitoulin developed the transportation knowledge that is relied on and trusted by clients in various industries.Job DescriptionUnload freight from trailers and load outbound trailers using electronic devices.Mark materials with identifying informationRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributedCount and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shipper's bill of ladingStarts heaters, placard trailers as requiredArranges freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer spaceMust take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage, etc.Typical Hours will be 16:30-20:30 (Monday - Friday). Responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers using electronic devices and ensuring materials are correctly marked and recorded. Maintains warehouse safety and organization through cleaning and proper storage of materials.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and possess strong problem-solving and multitasking skills. Certification in WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, or Tow Motor operation is required but can be obtained through in-house training.
