Hiring Unit: Bensadoun School of Retail Management Position Summary: About the BSRM The Bensadoun School of Retail Management (BSRM) is a specialized academic unit within the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. The School plays a leading role in advancing education and dialogue around retail management through its programs, events, and partnerships. To support these efforts, BSRM is seeking a creative and motivated Communications Assistant to work closely with the Senior Marketing Officer on content creation, digital communication, and marketing operations. The Role In this role, you will join a talented and dynamic team and contribute to key marketing and communication priorities at BSRM. You will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives across the School’s digital platforms and play an active role in creating clear and engaging content. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Education and Experience: · MMR, MBA or U2, U3 BCom student with a concentration in retail or marketing. · Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation skills. · Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms. · Ability to generate creative campaigns and ideas to reach our target audiences. · Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. · Basic graphic design and photo/video editing skills are a plus. Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience Hourly Salary: (AMUSE C) $19.00 Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 20 (Part time) Position Start Date: 2026-08-19 Position End Date: 2026-11-03 Deadline to Apply: 2026-08-21 This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement.
