Medical Director & Physician Injector – Aesthetic Medicine

MDSearch is seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Family Physician with experience in cosmetic injectables to join a premier aesthetic clinic in downtown Ottawa in a dual role as Physician Injector and Medical Director. In this position, you will maintain an active clinical practice within the clinic, providing cosmetic and aesthetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, and other physician-led aesthetic procedures. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will serve as the clinic’s Medical Director, providing medical oversight and supporting the safe, high-quality delivery of patient care. You will work collaboratively with the Regional Director, Clinic Lead, and clinic support team to oversee clinical operations, protocols, standards of care, and other medical-director responsibilities. This opportunity is well suited to a Family Physician who is passionate about aesthetic medicine and is interested in combining hands-on cosmetic practice with a medical leadership role. Required Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic injecting (Botox, dermal fillers, PRP). Current license in good standing with CPSO. Superior understanding of facial anatomy and injection techniques. Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical aesthetic industry. Compensation & Revenue Sharing: The medical group’s model is performance-driven and rewards both clinical activity and leadership roles. $350.000 - $450.000 for high earners annually after split, depending on their service volume, case mix, and scope of involvement in the clinic. Monthly stipend and an additional % on supervised treatments. Injectors are paid based on: Services they personally provide Services they supervise (if applicable) A percentage of total clinic-wide sales, when serving as the Medical Director NOTE: Medical doctor billings are around $500K annually, with many comfortably in the six figures. The Medical Director will administer facial injectable treatments and oversee clinic operations in collaboration with the leadership team. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care while managing clinical activity and staff supervision.

Candidates must hold a current license in good standing with the CPSO and possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic injecting. A deep understanding of facial anatomy and prior experience in the medical aesthetic industry are mandatory.
