Craft Beer Enthusiast

This role is available on a Permanent part time basis. Reporting to the Taproom Manager, the Craft Beer Enthusiast (Taproom Server) is front and centre of what we brew, ensuring quality product is in our customers hands every time! The enthusiastic, high-energy individual truly enjoys working in a team environment and enjoys getting involved in new ventures, creative mind set and is a great ambassador of Muskoka Brewery’s values and brand. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the overall Muskoka Brewery experience of all taproom guests. * Greeting and welcoming each guest and providing an exceptional experience in serving food and drinks to our amazing customers. * Leading guided tours and tastings to both small and large groups. * Achieving daily sales targets. * Daily opening and closing procedures. * Assisting with taproom store displays and merchandising. * Rotating beer inventory and stock accordingly. * Daily cleaning and maintaining of the retail, event and outdoor spaces. * Packaging online store orders efficiently and correctly. * Ready to work in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor. * Occasionally working external events, festivals, sampling opportunities in our great community. * Other duties as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be smart serve certified (minimum age 18) * Energetic, enthusiastic, and work great in a team environment. We live our values of authentic, unique, and caring every day. * Experience with a POS system and handling cash/credit/debit card transactions is an asset. * Proven record of customer centric service with excellent communication skills. * Ability to follow processes set by leads and manager. * Reliable transportation to and from work. * Exemplary work ethic and commitment to our values. * Highly organized, self-motivated with an ability to multi-task. * Must be available to work all various shifts including weekends and special events. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. * Comfortable working in a kitchen as required (food handlers certificate an asset). * Comfortable working in a manufacturing and retail and outdoor environment Please note : * AI is not used for screening or accessing candidates. * This posting is for a vacant existing role.

The Craft Beer Enthusiast is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience, including serving food and drinks, leading brewery tours, and managing daily taproom operations. They also handle inventory rotation, store merchandising, and assist with online order packaging.

Candidates must hold a Smart Serve certification and be able to lift 50 lbs. Strong communication skills, experience with POS systems, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends are required.
